A Poem
A Poem
A poem from me you’d like me to write
Like roses are red and violets are delight
Sweetness and kisses from my pen to you
All my passion and love written anew
But my gift of pen you see is not for joy
Nor for love or when a boy would be coy
It’s when my loved ones are hurt and blue
That my words are bended knees at a pew
Rising as a fragrance of prayer to the Unseen
Hoping His ear I have to send help to the scene
Providence alone inspires my heart and hand
As I stand in the gap and help them to stand
Interceding I do taking their place in prayer
My pen, taking their pain and sorrows to bear
