Why I love Facebook
Why I love Facebook
Before I say why I love Facebook, let me be a little negative. I would rather choose to be positive. I hear and see a lot of people criticizing Facebook. They say things like “it is a waste of time†or people threaten other “friends†with “if you are negative I will defriend you†or “there is only negativity on Facebook.†If you feel that way please like my public page Robertallenmitchellsr and go to my blog Robertallenmitchellsr.com, only positive on these blogs and post.
I think if someone does not share your values, they are probably not your friend. Don’t mistake values with differences in opinion, religion or politics. I personally love a good debate. I personally love it when someone disagrees with me and is passionate about what they believe. I usually walk away a better man and a have little bit different philosophy, I usually change my position at least a little. I love to learn from people that are passionate about what they believe in.
The exceptions for me are these. Although I celebrate every foreign country’s flag, I feel like the USA has only one flag, the Red Right and Blue, I will only pledge my allegiance to that one flag. Hate speech is a deal breaker for me and so is discriminating against a group of people. I would never judge or criticize someone for their differences in religion, or if they are atheists, their gender, whether they are transgender, same sex attraction or politics. I also will always support our president, even though half the time “the other party†will be in office.
Now for why I love Facebook. It allows me to keep in touch with thousands of people. I can share and be shared with photos from all over the world. I can send out positive energy into the universe and I can receive all that positive energy back.
I believe we can have, what we say, what we think and what we post. I hope you say, think and post positive things and energy, it will come back to you.
Thank you for being my friend on Facebook.
