You can take it all with you when you die
I have heard all my life, “you can’t take it with you.†Meaning, when you die, you can’t take anything with you. I disagree. The graveyard is the richest place in the word. It is full of treasures. The graveyard is full of unwritten books, unwritten songs and unwritten music. The grave yard is full of unwritten poems and unfulfilled promises.
You can take these with you when you go and I encourage you not to. Express and manifest all your wonderful talent here on this wonderful Earth before you leave this wonderful place and before you journey on to the next wonderful world.
In this thing that we call “The great game of life†leave it all on the field. The Apostle Paul said, of those that have left this world, that they “are a great cloud of witnesses†they are in the great stadium in the sky looking over Heaven’s banister’s rail rooting us on. Encouraging us to run our race.
What is your race? As Simon Sinek asks “what is your why?†Gary Keller asks “what is your one thing?†What is your purpose? What is your calling? I believe all of heaven, the universe, all the angels and all the spirits of those that have left us are rooting us on to run our race.
Only you can run your race. You have three competitors you’re running against. Your past, your present and your full potential. You are competing against who you were, who you presently are and most importantly who you are meant to be. Your full potential! The real you. You’re highest and you’re best self. You are not competing against anyone else on the planet. And no one else on the planet can run your race.
What do you have within you? What seeds of greatness were planted in you that have not yet germinated? Don’t take these with you when you go. We will all leave this great blue and green ball and let’s not die before we truly live.
I believe in the law of reciprocation. Meaning all the good you do and give to the world, the universe will send back to you many times over and over. Two thousand years ago it was written “give and it shall be given back to you, pressed down and shaken together will men and women give back to you. Whatever you give will be given back!â€
Not only will you be hurting humanity, if you leave without giving all the world your gifts and talents, you will be hurting yourself and your loved ones. You won’t receive back all the wonderful blessings you would have received by giving your life’s best first. You will be taking to the grave all the blessings you would have received. All the joy and all the experiences that would have been a result of manifesting your true potential and running your race.
What would your life look like if it was amazing? What should it look like? What is the end in sight? What is your vision? Start with that. Start with the end in sight. Start with the finish line. See yourself there. What does it look like and where is it?
Write your own eulogy. Write it today. Write it now. Write it like it was true the day you leave this planet. Write about all the great things you accomplished. Write about all the people you helped and blessed. Write about how you reached your full potential and how you lived to be over a hundred years old with a healthy mind, a healthy body and a healthy life. And a full life.
Who do you have to be right now to make that eulogy come true? What do you have to do right now to make that eulogy come true? What kind of life will you have right now if you make it come true?
